Pinus monophyla, single leaf pinyon pine, USDA H6-hardy.
A tree to 15-20m in it’s native habitat. An open irregular and rounded crown with low spreading ascending branches. Curved needles, reddish-purple pollen cones, edible seeds, fairly slow growing to start.
