tall 2021 seedling. USDA H8-9-perhaps even hardier, and certainly more hardy as it gets older. This IS NOT pinus fenzeliana. A truly rare opportunity, and grows on chalk too.
Extremely rare and vulnerable in the wild. Previously often classified by taxonomists as being the same as ~fenzeliana, or ~wangii sub sp. kwangtungensis, but more recently recognised as a specie in itself. The seed is not commercially available, and we doubt if we will ever have access to it again.
