Pilgerodendron uviferum USDA H6-hardy
A single specie genus, single stemmed dioecious evergreen. It originates from temperate Argentina, and is found on acidic bogs and swamps though is intolerable of shade. A lakeside tree, with ascending branches, that has a particular genetic enzyme to cope with permanently wet roots- so you could get away with planting it in the lake!
Narrowly conical becoming more rounded with age, to 20m if left unbonsaid.
