This is a broad symmetrical upright and robust selection of Colorado blue spruce with uniform branching and intense steel-blue foliage. Blueness varies according to season and planting. A fairly obscure variant not commonly available in horticulture and rarely found in many collections/arboreta though first known of in the late 1970’s
