A tree 20-35m tall native to a limited area of the US: northwest California, and southwest Oregon(Siskiyou mountains). It is found in mountains near the Pacific coast at an altitude of 1200-2300m It’s native climate is temperate with warm dry Summers and cool/cold wet winters with snowfall. The crown is broadly conical with horizontally spreading branches and long slender pendulous twigs.
