'Koto-no-ito' isa slow-growing cultivar, eventually forming an upright tall of 2-3m max. shrub up to 3m tall. The trailing, bright green leaves emerge with crimson tones and comprise 5 to 7 long, narrow lobes that taper to a point and turn to shades of red, orange and yellow in the autumn. The name translates as “golden old harp”. listed as growable in any light, though we would excercise caution particularly near stone surroundings.
